Floridians are paying more than ever for electricity. FPL is asking for billions in new rate hikes, and unelected regulators, who are hand-picked by the governor and legislature, keep saying yes.

The result? Families are stuck with skyrocketing bills while utilities pocket record profits.

In just five years, the average Florida household has seen electric bills rise by more than $400 per year. Seniors, veterans, small businesses, and working families are all feeling the squeeze — and now utilities want even more.

Utilities can’t raise rates without approval from the Public Service Commission (PSC), and instead of protecting Floridians, these regulators have rubber-stamped increase after increase. Florida needs watchdogs, not lapdogs.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

By speaking out, you can remind lawmakers that they work for you, not the utilities.

It’s your money. Remind politicians who they serve.

Send a message to your lawmakers: Stand up for Floridians, not monopoly utilities.
